I create pictures that connect the feeling of a child’s moment in time to the viewer. I seek to treasure the ordinary. My work provides discovery and connection for the child, nostalgia for the adult. Capturing the mood is everything; like noticing the fleeting moment of a muddy walk in the spring while hearing the welcoming song of a robin perched on the branch of a tree. My characters reflect the world around them…the change of the seasons, classroom experiences, the coziness and familiarity of home, friendships, and the excitement of an adventure.

Creating my work digitally allows me to connect my process with the immediacy of the tools. If I can imagine it, I can create it.
